About the Plainville, CT Food Pantry
At the Plainville Community Food Pantry, we support our community’s essential needs while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency. We prioritize a client-centered approach that empowers individuals and families by offering choices and access to vital resources.
Who We Are
We also ensure holidays (including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) are memorable for families in need, while our Back-to-School program means children in Plainville can have a positive start to the school year. In addition, we’re a host site for WIC — a federally funded Women, Infants, and Children program. The pantry also works in collaboration with Plainville Adult Education and works in partnership with the United Way.
