Who We Are

The Plainville Community Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to helping those in need. With a wide range of critical services — including food assistance, energy assistance, clothing, crisis intervention, and referral services — we don’t just stop at meeting the basic needs of our clients.

We also ensure holidays (including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) are memorable for families in need, while our Back-to-School program means children in Plainville can have a positive start to the school year. In addition, we’re a host site for WIC — a federally funded Women, Infants, and Children program. The pantry also works in collaboration with Plainville Adult Education and works in partnership with the United Way.
